Kukicha is a real “three-yearly tea”, consisting of leaves and grilled twigs. These twigs are cut from the shrubs during fall after every third season. The soft, aromatic taste of this tea is appealing to everyone. Due to the exceptionally low theine content (0.4 %), kukicha is also suitable for children.
