Nori, the Japanese word for 'seaweed', is a product developed on the basis of different varieties of seaweed. They are rinsed with water, ground, put in moulds in thin layers and left to dry. The sheets thus obtained can be used to wrap boiled rice (maki sushi) or finely chopped as seasoning.
Nori is rich in calcium, phosphorus, iron, potassium and vitamin C.
