Some handy tips for taking your first few successful steps into the world of organic products and natural foodstuffs

There are some new habits that you can adopt right away that will rapidly improve the overall quality of your diet without transforming it completely.

  • Opt for whole foods, including rice, grains, etc., and eat wholemeal leavened bread as standard
  • Season your foods differently:
    • opt for organic vinegars, delicious to the palate and mild;
    • give preference to virgin oils obtained from the first pressing of the cold pressing process, extracted from organically farmed grains or fruit;
    • change your salt: in contrast to industrial salt, unrefined sea salt is a valuable foodstuff, packed with minerals and trace elements, notably iodine;
    • discover soy sauces (Tamari or Shoyu) to season your soups, sauces, vegetable dishes, etc.;
    • use Gomasio, sesame-enriched sea salt.

  • Cut back on your consumption of sugar:
    • in your desserts, replace sugar by whole grain syrups;
    • give preference to breakfast cereals with no added sugar;
    • watch out for hidden sugars.

  • Progressively reduce your intake of animal protein, replacing it by vegetable protein (tofu, seitan, etc.).
  • Bear in mind a day’s little treats:
    • when you are peckish, rice cakes are ideal;
    • vegetable juices are the perfect thing for a drinks party;
    • when having friends round, some great snacks are hummus and tsatsiki served on crackers or as a dip with vegetable crudités and an organic tortilla on the side – delicious and so easy!

  • Feel free to use your right to relax: ready-to-use products are not incompatible with a natural and organic diet:
    • Soups, ready-made meals and pre-cooked grains are all available.
    You will soon see that once you have put these few tips into practice, the desire will automatically grow in you to look further and broaden your knowledge of natural foodstuffs.

This site is dedicated to helping you to get there.
