  1. Bring abundant water (about 4litters) to a boil in a big pot.

  2. Meanwhile prepare the sauce; cut tomatoes into dice, crush garlic with the surface of the knife, put them into a bowl where miso has been dissolved with olive oil. *miso will dissolve better once mixed with tomatoes.

  3. Boil the Somen for 3-4 mins, drain using a strainer, wash under running water, quickly cool down in iced water, then drain well. Add some olive oil (not included in the portion) to avoid tangles.

  4. Add the Somen into the sauce, add some salt to taste, remove the garlic before putting in a serving dish.

  5. Add basils by tearing with hands
