Ume‑su 4.0°
The traditional Ume Su is the sour brine juice from the lactic acid fermentation of umeboshi apricots with shiso leaves. Its slightly acid taste makes it a delicious altnative to vinegar. In contrast to regular vinegar, Ume Su is naturally salty and less acid. Ume Su is characterised by a refreshing, fruity and pleasantly salty taste.
Package size: 250ml
Ume Su can be used as an alternative to vinegar: in vinaigrettes, mayonnaise, pickles, etc. It is not necessary to add salt to your dish, as Ume Su has a naturally salty taste.
Umeboshi* (Prunus meme), sea salt, shiso* (Perilla frutescens).
